1. How much does the Honda SH125i 2023 cost?
Being the top-tier scooter in the 125cc segment that Honda brings to the market, the price of the SH125i also ranks among the highest within Honda's 125cc scooter lineup.
Specifically, the Honda SH125i 2023 is available in 4 versions with corresponding price tags as follows:
Decree No. 44/2023/NĐ-CP stipulates the VAT reduction policy according to Resolution No. 101/2023/QH15, which guides reducing VAT from 10% to 8% from July 01, 2023, until December 31, 2023. Consequently, the SH125i 2023 is listed among the motorcycles subject to 8% VAT from July 01, 2023, until December 31, 2023.
However, HVN's proposed price is just one aspect. In reality, the selling price of the SH125i, in particular, and SH scooter models in general, often exceeds the listed price at dealerships by 10 - 20 million VND. Therefore, combined with registration fees as well as insurance costs, the on-road price of the Honda SH125i 2023 will be around 100 million VND.
2. Color Options for the Honda SH125i 2023 Scooter
As previously mentioned, the SH125i 2023 comes in a total of 4 versions, each with different color options, specifically:
- Colors available for the SH125i 2023 Standard Version
The Standard Version of the SH125i 2023 offers a total of 3 color options including red-black, black, and white-black. This is a glossy paint version, accompanied by black-painted wheels, but it is the cheapest version as it only uses CBS brakes.
- Premium Colors for the SH125i 2023
The premium version offers 2 color variants: white-black and red-black, accompanied by a brown seat and metallic silver-white wheels.
- Special Color Edition of the Honda SH125i 2023
The Special Edition of the SH125I 2023 scooter has only one color option, matte black. This version comes with prominent red decals on the bike's stickers, logos, and rear shock absorber.
- Sporty Colors of the Honda SH125i 2023
The Sporty version of the SH125i 2023 features a black-gray color scheme - this color version has also appeared on the 2022 SH, but in this version, there are additional prominent red stripes on the front of the bike.
3. What Sets Apart the Honda SH125i 2023 from the 2022 Version?
According to our findings, the SH 125i 2023 scooter recently unveiled has only 2 differences compared to the 2022 version:
- It offers additional color options, as well as new decals (as we've outlined above)
- It comes with a higher price tag compared to the 2022 version, approximately 1.5 million VND higher
Apart from these two differences, the SH 2023 scooter doesn't differ from the 2022 version. The bike still features the familiar sporty design language with LED lighting technology throughout the body.

Additionally, this instrument cluster can connect to a smartphone via Bluetooth to display phone notifications on the cluster, as well as provide better vehicle status control through the My Honda app.
The SH 125i 2023 is also equipped with a smartkey system featuring 3 functions, including a modern anti-theft feature. The fuel tank lid is conveniently located at the front of the bike for easy refueling.
In terms of power, the SH125i 2023 still utilizes the eSP+ engine with a single-cylinder displacement of 125cc, generating a maximum power of 9.6 kW at 8250 rpm and a peak torque of 12 Nm at 6500 rpm. The bike has a fuel consumption rate of 2.46 liters of gasoline per 100 km.
The bike is equipped with telescopic front suspension and rear dual-coil spring suspension for stability during operation. The SH 125i 2023 also features front and rear disc brakes integrated with CBS braking system for even brake distribution between the two wheels. Except for the standard version, all other versions of the SH125 2023 are equipped with ABS anti-lock braking system for the front wheel, enhancing safety for users during operation.
Moreover, this scooter is particularly convenient with a 28-liter storage compartment equipped with a handy USB charging port. The bike also has a front storage compartment with a closing lid for storing items such as gloves, sunglasses, face masks, providing added convenience.
