It now boasts a larger headlamp with thinner bezels on the side. The headlight is complemented by textured panels on the top front fairing and a faux carbon fiber trim on its chin.

Also noticeable is the blue light just right above the headlight that looks like daytime running lights.

Per YMPH the almond-shaped blue inner lens helps give the updated Mio Gravis an “intelligent” look.

Larger meter panel

Yamaha also increased the size of the 2023 Mio Gravis’ meter panel making it easier for riders to look at relevant riding data at a glance.

Like the fairing at the top front part of the small displacement bike, the one embracing the meter panel also has textured surfaces that makes the 2023 Yamaha Mio Gravis look sporty from this angle.

A redesigned grab rail

Additionally, Yamaha gave the 2023 Mio Gravis a redesigned grab rail.

Compared to the outgoing model, the new grab rail is sleeker and more elegant.

Yamaha Y-Connect

Arguably the most significant upgrade the 2023 Yamaha Mio Gravis got is the addition of the Yamaha Y-Connect to its arsenal.

Through it, owners can enjoy advanced features one wouldn’t expect to find in a 155 cubic-capacity scooter.

The Yamaha Y-Connect allows a rider to check his or her last parked location, view the motorbike’s gas consumption, and be reminded of maintenance and service schedules.

Conclusion

The new 2023 Yamaha Mio Gravis does sport upgrades that are both cosmetic and functional, which makes it appealing for both beginners and seasoned riders looking for a small displacement scooter.

These updates will set customers back an additional P4,000 as the 2023 Yamaha Mio Gravis costs P93,900. The outgoing version had a retail price of P89,900.
